I'd CCA all of them and see what comes back. Once we've got some replies, we can go forward from there.

Hold fire, don't send any CCA's yet - please clarify is this all the debts you have? If so just cancel all payments, and when whoever owns the accounts write, THEN update the posts and we'll sort some CCA's at that point.

Thing is, if anyone gets snotty etc then we can simply send a CCA and make a smaller offer if necessary - but for now, stop all payments if you're happy to take the UE approach on things and do nothing else until they write to you, then update us....

I will learn i promise! Can you imagine the state of my paperwork and bills?

Okay - seriously.....i am not fussed about paying any of them! Littlewoods defaulted me on every single item i owed on so i have about 26 defaults....probably more i haven`t looked as i get panic attacks looking at my credit file!

I`m quite happy to stop paying them. These are all the debts i have - my husband has two credit cards also which he has repayment plans for - capital one was opened in 2004 and i`m not sure on the vanquis one.... probably after 2006 - so we`ll stop paying those too and wait and see.

I would expect it will be a month or two until i hear from them as i only paid them this week

Thank you everyone! I`ll concentrate on getting my SAR out to Littlewoods, send the Lowells 40 day letter and wait and see on the other debts.

Ok Littlewoods, we'll get all those defaults removed too. First apply for SAR. When we know who owns all the accounts etc and get CCA's sent off we'll then look at CRA and argue to get duplicate defaults removed. One default per account. You can't have one for every item and SDG know this too

Worry about that later though. For now chillax

I nearly had heart failure when the postman knocked with all those default notices! Actually looking back it was pretty funny but at the time i couldn`t believe the stack of mail he handed over!

Just try & relax. In the meantime if you're also doing UE on hubby's cards start a new thread with those. However if his credit is ok I'd not ruin it over such small debts. So think about that one before jumping in. Plus Vanquis ring like the clappers so whatever you do more times and dates of any calls as you could end up claiming harassment. Vanquis are notorious for calling 5+ times a day.

You will get hassle calls so be prepared to ignore your landline or use our free number to route calls (see topics in UE section for thread)...

Hubby does have better credit than me - so yes it makes sense to leave his payments as they are as they are only small.

I`m used to ignoring the landline telephone!!! We have the 3 ring system in our house like Peter Kay! lol Perhaps shouldn`t have said that in case Vanquis are on the prowl and adopt the practise!!!

Will go and check out the free number to route calls - sounds like a fab idea!

Hi everyone

I`m back off my hols now and have received the SAR info from Shop direct but i can`t really make head nor tail of it.....everything is listed in abbreviations and it`s seriously confusing me!

It shows that i have two different account numbers - one from 18th August 2008 which is the account that lowells sent the enforceable cca for and the one i owe the money on.

However......there is also one sheet of paper right at the back of all the info which shows that i had another account number in my maiden name from 2006! This is the why i thought my account was opened in 2006 as i ordered something online and they set up an account for me but i sent the goods back.

I`m not sure if any of the above makes any difference...? Anyone know what my next steps should be please?

Hi everyone, i`m here again needing a bit of advice

The 60 day deadline from Lowells regarding my littlewoods SAR is looming, and i haven`t a clue what to do about them. i`m waiting anxiously for their next letter.

Vanquis have given me 14 days to pay my overdue account or they may pass my details to a DCA.
Aqua have asked me to contact them within 48 hours to prevent any further collections activity taking place.
Barclaycard have just sent a standard statement asking me if i have forgotten about them?!

So shall i sit tight for now or shall i start preparing my cca request letters?

Any advice much appreciated Thank you x
